Who'd have thought we would still be looking to take advantage of nearly out of contract and release clause players even with untold riches. We need options, just bodies in, someone to take a chance on. Even if they aren't walking straight into the XI we need competition and cover for nearly all positions. James Posted January 26, 2022 Share Posted January 26, 2022 It’s really hard because clubs will hold us ransom right down to deadline day to maximise the price - and at the same time we have to consider FFP - spend to much on ‘just get by’ players and maybe even get relegated anyway is quite damaging to this regard.
