Exactly what I'd expect a club with a bottomless pit to say. They aren't going to advertise to everyone that they are going to spend big in the summer, that would be stupid as it would obviously just inflate prices for us.

Big money spends incoming! :pedro:

I am so looking forward to this summer’s transfer business :coolsmiley:

I would be happy with a 60m spend on 4 players with a free transfer and a decent loan to help push us into the top half.

2x30m players plus a good bosman like Eriksen or Lingaard then a good young player on loan. That would get us top half I reckon.

Clear out as much deadwood as we can to free up some wages then next summer once we have got a foothold in the top half we could attract better players and really push the boat out then.

With what’s available for free transfers we could get 4-5 top players in costing us nothing but signing fees and wages, then £40-50m on a good striker and we’re set for next season.
sign Targett for the reported £15m and the frees I would look at are

Boubacar Kamara

James Tarkowski

Christian Eriksen

Jesse Lingard

Divock Origi

Franck Kessie

out of that lot only Keasie would require stupid wages

take your pick out of this lot

I know I’ve been a bit unsure on Nunez but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t even the slightest excited if he signed for us.

Gotta take this with a massive pinch of salt though. Seems we have been interested though, for quite some time.

60 million euros. Thats our whole Summer window money that

Of course it isn't. We're going to spend what we need to spend when we need to spend it. When someone like Nunez is available for 60, we're going to pay it. When a Trippier is available for 12, we'll pay that.

No revolution. Meaning we won’t replace 10 first teamers. We will replace 5-6 ?

I’d like to think it’ll be like Trigger’s broomstick on Only Fools & Horses. 17 new heads, 14 new handles, still the same stick!
