I’d go Danjuma over any wide player we have been linked with. His stats are brilliant this season, especially considering the defensive nature of the Villareal side.

Brilliant player. Would take. If we go by numbers Nkunku (not realistic) and Diaby (Dont know how realistic) few have better.

Oh yeah? Pray tell who these 3 ‘much better players’ are for 50m (16m a player) :) .

If we are talking positions (DM) Nunes at Sporting, Sangare at PSV both of them available for 20-30 each. Tolisso would be a very good option and very cheap. Caqaruet from Lyon he would be around 30-40 mil. Boubacar Kamara on a free.

Talking about players in general you could sign Lodi for 21 mil mentioned. Added with 1 of the above and a free transfer like Nkeitah who’s English so kind of helps with the HG quota. Would also love Brennan Johnson at Forest if we can’t manage to get Danjuma, Diaby or Nkunku but after this season it’s proven he’s best Centrally.

Was Danjuma particularly great at Bournemouth, or has he just come to prominence since the move to Villarreal ?

That wouldn't worry me. Villareal must've seen something and there are loads of players who seem as if they've drifted then suddenly exploded on to the scene, it'sjust they've been learning and growing.

Nunes is a box to box more than a DM. Mentioned him before as a player I find very interesting. We’ve been linked with him quite a bit. Very good at carrying the ball, technical and has pace and of decent size.

Feels like Burra have been interested in Darlow for about the last three years

He’d be a decent signing for the Smoggies imho - he’s not quite PL class, but he’s a very good second tier keeper

Without checking I think he had one season in the PL there which was unremarkable but then had a season in the championship and tore it up.

Danjuma over Raphinha is just crazy talk.

Just on character/attitude alone, I would rather Danjuma than Raphina.

Raphina is a persistent moaner and ref botherer. Almost got himself sent off after Dan James red card because he wouldn't shut the fuck up.

He’s also been very poor this season, Leeds fans are as frustrated with him as most of us are with ASM.

It’s really not at all.

It definitely is. One is barely getting off the bench for a rather weak offensive Dutch national side and the other is a star player for a team with players such as Vini, Neymar, Rodrygo, Antony, Martinelli, Cunha and Jesus. One has performed in three European leagues with four different teams, the other has performed in the second dutch division, Championship and now in La Liga one season.  The argument for defensive side that someone mentioned isn't true at all either because Villarreal have been only very defensive in the CL and not really in La Liga where they've scored 60 goals this season.

I'm not saying I wouldn't Danjuma here btw, but Raphinha is a far better and more talented player.

That is an absolute lie   Go read their forums and come back with evidence for that statement.  Why do I even bother. Raphinha has been their top performer by a mile man, that is indeniable.

I think we should go all out for Raphina, just sos´ we can get a "Brazilian" feel to the team. Would be great for publicity and endearing us to other fans if we had half the brazilian team playing for us.

Although he has been utter tripe this season for Atletico, I would even begrdugingly accept Lodi just cos it would be another brazilian...:mou:

I think Ekitike given it was basically a done deal bar the player knowing what he wanted will happen and another senior striker to go head to head with Wilson.

I do wonder how much Alexander Isak would cost. Been struggling for Real Sociedad but same build as Ekitike and clearly very very talented and more experienced.
