Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

Recommended Posts

Would have loved him here but that was primarily as it would have signalled our ambition to bring in the best young players in Europe.

On the pitch there’s absolutely no guarantee this kid is an £80m PL forward. There’s just as much chance that he flops like a lot of Liverpool strikers of the past.

Ornstein uses that "only wanted" line now as well

He's not worth a light anymore the prat

It's almost as if agents are telling them put it so they are well liked by the new clubs fans.

Easy PR win.

As I stated earlier, I'm praying his career nosedives and he ends up being the most expensive flop in history.

I wish that on anyone who signs for Liverpool tbh.

I don’t think I’ve ever wanted a player thread to be entirely deleted more than this one.

I think now is the time for this one - and going forward player threads should be banned until a player has signed

I'm not fussed by this at all, noway were we going to pay 95m. One thing that will piss me off is if pif buy nunez from them

It's almost as if PIFs left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Bonkers

The problem we have is our Chairman has about 20 different jobs.  The club must get about 5 mins of his time a week - we need a chairman who is more present / can make decisions quickly.

Not even arsed, care more about Trafford [emoji38]

Same. We’ve messed around with this transfer for a year and lost it. Clear upgrade as well.

Ekitike wouldn’t have been head of Isak.

People really upset we didn't spunk 40m on a keeper?

Spending the going rate on anyone, or adjusting our strategy to either buy fewer players or go for different targets would suffice.

Fair.

IMO, we need a Sporting Director and everything falling in line behind them. I love Howe but the cult of personality approach in that he runs everything just doesn't work nowadays. He can't do absolutely everything.

We need a long term vision, at this moment all I can see is a club existing from one season to the next; hoping for the best. Hope we're in a much better position re recruitment come 1st Sept - I'm sceptical.

Since Ashworth / Amanda left we seem to have regressed off the pitch.  The cogs just don't seem to be turning. It's a shambolic situation that Eddie is having to get involved - the man must not be sleeping.  He will burn out at this rate.
