High Five o
It’s a lot of money. But when we bought Isak we paid a premium for a largely unproven player. Now he is proven we demand 150-200M. Most clubs can’t fork out that kind of money, hence they need to take more risk themselves.

No pressure As talented as he is, I'm not sure he has the temperament to deal with the responsibility. Will be really interesting. The hilarity if the guy flops there man

Sandrotastico
The game has gone. 100m for a unproven kid who has played one good season and has an attitude larger than his reputation, 20m less than a striker considered top 3 in the world? Players wanting 350k a week while some folk can't afford to feed their kids. No wonder folk are getting sick of it all. We had the best season of my life last year - hell, we waited long enough. On the cusp of kicking on, potential to add to a great group, 3-4-5 new signings and a good chance of closing the gap of that good old cartel. Think again, potentially losing our best player not even half-way through a contract and unable to even break stride in terms of spending the money that we have burning a hole in our pocket. Honestly, it's quite gross the direction this league and the broader game is going - the game would be better off, if those in the propsed 'superleague' just fucked off and let the others have a crack at competing. Whatever happens it's been a comical and hugely disappointing window.
SEMTEX
Don’t see why the numbers are relevant to anything. They’re just arbitrary numbers spent by an organization. This is no different to the last 30 years. If Liverpool want a player that we want, they will likely win. They can afford more and they’re more attractive to most players. The number itself is meaningless.

LFEE
From the outside he’s going for £4m more than we offered. I’m always in defence of the club but it seems like he only wanted Liverpool? Those god forsaken agents …

gbandit
Frankfurt are getting a ransom here. I think Ekitike will make a massive success of it but it’s stupid money. Can’t believe how out of control it is nowadays. When is it going to stop inflating?
