Guybrush
Good luck to him! I hope this means we're planning to bring someone in.

Do teams actually need 3 strikers? Suppose there is a question mark on whether Isak can consistently lead the line in his own or whether he will end up as a support striker. Im sure Howe knows what he wants to do and whether we need a third striker.
AJ9
Good business. Ultimately he doesn’t fit into how we want to play football. Did a job for us when we achieved our number 1 objective of staying up. Not good enough to stay now though.
LiquidAK
Hopefully we bring in someone young and raw who won't expect to play every week, but can grow into the team over the next few seasons, eventually taking Wilson's place as he ages out and challenging Isak for the starting spot. Shak
Seems utterly inconceivable that we'd let Wood go if we didn't have someone lined up. Unreasonably excited by this, just because I feel there must be something in the works.
sempuki
A great penalty taker but not much else. Played his part in our survival and revival to an extent. Excited to see who we bring in now.
Abacus
A good professional, not a bad word to say about him personally and hope it works out. Those goals last season were critical, and he's a nerveless penalty taker, even if it didn't really click with him here. In the future, you can't see him being much more than a defensive / injury sub for us, just as he was used during the Arsenal game - so probably best for all concerned. In which case, I take it all back and all hail Shola, hi-ho the loan-arranger!
toontownman
Easy with the thread change excitement, we are not out of the wood yet.
Holloway
This would be a nice start to the window, good luck big man
Ben
Good shithousery signing at the time which contributed to Burnley taking up one of the relegation spots, ultimately not good enough for what we need moving on. The fact we've loaned him out 12 months after paying £25 million for him proves the owners aren't fucking about, I'm now convinced we'll bring a couple of purples in before the window shuts. STM
Don't care how many forwards other teams have. We need 3 because: 1. Wilson has paper legs and misses 50% of a season. 2. We don't have wide forwards who can play a false 9 or even play legitimate striker roles.
BlueStar
Why do Forest need players on loan, have they not bought like 25 players since being promoted? Suppose if they need striker cover, it would be good to loan them Wood over the alternative because then he'll be cup tied and leave them light upfront for the final
Donut
Wanted him to do well, but that miss against Wednesday was the last straw for me. Utterly horrific finisher.
MagMal
Good luck to him. He came in when we looked nailed on for relegation, he tried hard and never complained or hid, not the best player but put the effort and commitment in. I would always cheer him if he plays against us, one of the good guys, ultimately not good enough but not his fault, definitely not a Michael Owen ex-player. Lush Vlad
Hoping for a wide forward type, that can cover as a 9, if need be. It would be great to have a genuine option to come on for Miggy and perhaps more of a goal threat than ASM/Big Joe/Little Joe if played wide left. Howe and Ashworth have both referenced shifting players, before we bring anyone in. So let's hope this sets the wheels in motion.

Miggys First Goal
We must have somebody lined up ready to pull the trigger on otherwise it’s extremely shortsighted of the club given how prone to injuries Wilson is.
MrRaspberryJam
Ah man. I know hes not great but he tried. Class penalty taker that's about it. Kinda sad to see him go but we need to be ruthless if we want to progress. Edited January 18, 2023 by MrRaspberryJam
geordie_b
Wouldn’t be against taking Emmanuel Dennis on a short term loan the other way. Allows us a bit more time to find a replacement and strengthens our negotiation position when we do

Jackie Broon
He's just looked overwhelmed since he arrived, he knew he isn't a £25m player and was signed out of desperation, I think that's weighed on him. He did the job he was brought in to do in contributing to us staying up and good luck to him, it's not his fault he's not good enough for the level we now play at. Danh1
Wish him well, seems like a good bloke and hope he’s enjoyed his time here. He just doesn’t fit our style now that we actually have a “style”.
