He came in when we looked nailed on for relegation, he tried hard and never complained or hid, not the best player but put the effort and commitment in. I would always cheer him if he plays against us, one of the good guys, ultimately not good enough but not his fault, definitely not a Michael Owen ex-player. It would be great to have a genuine option to come on for Miggy and perhaps more of a goal threat than ASM/Big Joe/Little Joe if played wide left. He did the job he was brought in to do in contributing to us staying up and good luck to him, it's not his fault he's not good enough for the level we now play at. Utterly horrific finisher. Absolutely agree. Like him as a person and he has a good attitude but an expericed PL striker really has to hit the target at least. I think the worst thing is we know that miss wasn't just a one off, he would miss in that situation regularly. Good luck to him and hope does well there to make his move permanent for him and us. We need more consistency here, especially considering how teams will be looking to park the bus against us.
