Unbelievable player and stamina

I'm not even convinced he gets by on stamina, it's just pure unlimited desire and adrenaline that pushes him beyond his athletic limits

Tbh that’s a massive part.

Touch on wood.  It’s no coincidence he appears one of the most determined and he  doesn’t miss many games.

I mean, if you’re going to call one of the club’s greatest and most important players overrated for his whole career you’re going to get some stick.

Well you are just making stuff up now. Never said any such thing.

For someone who doesn't score a lot, he provides some fucking massive goals. Just recently it's West Ham after the cup final, Chelsea towards the end of last season, Forest two weeks ago and today - all absolutely crucial strikes which delivered huge results, scored whilst the games were in the balance. What a man.

Trying to think of another CM we've had that had this quality. Gazza is the other one I recall playing like this, just pure desire all the time, allied to amazing ability. They're not really directly comparable but in terms of just wanting to win at all costs, they are peas in a pod from a different era.

You may have never used that specific word, but your constant criticism of him would lead one to believe you do not rate him like most. If you're going to bump this thread every time he's had an off day (when we've asked him to play nearly every minute for three years, which is context you seem to ignore) then you're probably going to hear it when he scores a 90th minute winner.

3 in 8 in the league so far, seems to be given license to play a good bit higher with Woltemade in the team. Hopefully he can keep those kind of numbers going.

Yeah this seems to be a conscious adjustment. He’s forward a lot more often than he was at the beginning of the season.

You can't fault Bruno for is heart and desire (alongside his super technical ability)  the guy will give you everything he has to the very end and happy that today that was a last minute winner.

One thing i would say about him and maybe it's in line with the high standards he has set both for himself and the team, he's one the first name on both ours and Brazil's team sheet, yet he has these games were he tries too hard and misplaces everything or gets too frustrated. He's now playing at the very highest level of football and he needs to find more composure and ability to preform consistently the way the very top players do.

Shame his goal vs Liverpool won't be remembered for the right reasons.
