My 6 year old explaining very deadpan to the missus that he’s called Big Dan Burn because he’s quite big had me in stitches earlier. He actually thinks his name is BDB:aww:

You mean it isn't?

Who knew that a player would turn out class when played in his correct position.

Hardly like it's a redemption, he's basically always been solid for us. On another level this season though.

gonna have his work cut out guiding kelly through north london traffic next week.

no way can botman be ready.

I'd toy with the idea of putting Tino as RCB (speed and right-footed) and Tripps as RB for the Spurs match. Son is deadly on the break and Tino seems best suited to deal with him.

Lloyd Kelly will be playing and rightly so.

Eddie has been talking about Big Dan, three years after signing him: “Without a doubt he’s one of my best signings. He’s been incredible - even better than I thought he would be for us! We knew he was talented and would be a difference maker but when you add the leadership skills and consistency, he’s been a tower of strength for us and fundamentally important in everything we’ve done.”

If i was Tuchel i would be thinking about him for the next squad, immense once again.

Absolutely. We are not blessed with many high quality centre backs. Suspect he wont make it just cos he looks like a big old fashioned agricultural centre half and noone will get past that. Such a good personality to have in a squad too

I wouldn’t.

But lad is immense. I’ll always have time for a CB that is committed, brave and wins his headers. Been excellent all round.

I love Fab but I’d be tempted to keep Burn and Botman (I guess he’ll need rotation anyway) for a bit.

I'm not saying he should start or anything but half the other cbs seem to be having poor seasons...
