January hard to do business in TBF. Ideally it would be good to get a long term solution sorted but January might not be the window for it.

No beef at all with bringing Targett back, though a bit of a shame for him. He'd probably be something like his old self if he played, given he's finally played consistently this season.

Targett coming back is the sensible and cost effective option. We’ve got a player under contract until summer, best to use him.

Seems to have played every game for Middlesbrough since end of August. Majority of them the full 90.

Still hope we buy another fullback in january, as just Targett back still wouldn't be great depth. We will probably wait until the summer, though.

We've got Hall and Tino as first choice fullbacks.  January might be good to go and get a young talent who can play understudy to them.

From everything I've heard he's playing really well at Boro who are second in the Championship, he's been playing centre half the last few weeks because of their own injury issues and doing well. We'd be mad not to bring him back in the current situation. I've always thought Targett has been pretty steady for us when he's played, not sure why he's so unpopular.

Always rated him and he'd have been a better option there than Burn at left-back this season. If we don't want to buy a Lb until the summer then I've no issues having him in the team or bench for a few months.
