r0cafella
Just now, Paullow said: I've not been watching, but it looks a deserved win for Brentford. 14 shots to 3, 6 on target to 1 etc. A goal and assist for Toney - would anyone have him back? No. We should be aiming higher and he’d be too expensive to sign as a squad player.
papo
Nick Pope to the Toon pls in the summer would be a good start of the transfer window
Conjo
Nice weekend for Tottenham. Arsenal, West Ham, Man Utd & Wolves all losing.
Theregulars
Burnley have looked awful. Haven’t watched them much this season and wanted to see what the nervousness on the relegation threads was about. That wasn’t the display of a side who are staying up. Utterly outplayed by the worst side in the division.
Pokerprince2004
Burnley have been the turd that wouldn't flush for years. Glad they're going this time like. That stat before saying this match is only the 2nd time Burnley have had more than 50% possession (other v West Brom in 2017) is mental

Paullow
Commentator - "pints will be poured for Pukki on Tyneside...", well some maybe, not those more fixed on Everton going down.
LionOfGosforth
Where's that tosser Burnley fan who signed up here a few months back to declare we'd hound EH out after "a coupe of defeats". Lerl.

Know what you mean, absolutely detest Everton, dont think I've ever wanted a team to go down as much as them (apart from Sunderland). Hopefully if it goes last game Everton are away at Arsenal and we can 'be on the beach' against Burnley Edited April 10, 2022 by Pokerprince2004
Ikon
Anyone remember how hard the kick in the balls was when Watford equalised in the 93rd minute? Me neither. Bring on next season ?

Conjo
I don't really mind Everton as a club or fan base. Only reason I want to see them relegated is because it would be hilarious due to the quality of their squad.
Geordie Ahmed
I think we lost the luxury of Everton going down when we let them beat us This is a good result for us because the sooner we are mathematically safe then preparations for the summer and next season can begin Regardless Everton are stuffed even if they stay up, can't spend and probably still have a bang average manager in charge
Kid Icarus
Football's mental and there are still 7 or 8 games left. Stranger things have happened.
SUPERTOON
I couldn’t care less who goes down as long as it wasn’t us, we can actually start to build and never be fighting relegation again.

OoOGazOoO
That is a massive result in terms of relegation! Rightly or wrongly I was still looking over my shoulder but Burnley getting beaten has just eased that!
Dr Jinx
Everton are a weird side, they have some good players who seem to raise their game against better players, then can’t seem bothered against the dregs. Maybe it’s a case of some of their lot playing for moves to better/bigger clubs in the summer. As a club can’t stand them.. but looks like it’s going to be Burnley. It’s far from over though.. we need one more win and maybe a draw so we can just breathe a bit easier. A run of 3 losses again where Burnley win twice would be a nervous end to the season. TBG
Hope City and Liverpool ends in a draw and both go on to lose the remainder of their matches.

Tsunami
Everton aren’t going anyway under Frank and can’t spend. Would’ve liked them to go down but Burnley won’t be missed. Special shout out for that cheating shithouse Barnes going down.
