Forgot he was at Hull.

Wigan was a total anomaly for him where he looked like a progressive manager with a decent eye for a player

He also did the dirty on them after 4/5 months for crystal Palace in his first spell.

poor squad.

walked into a shitstorm.

needs time.

wait 'til he brings own players in.

Inherited a well drilled team that had finished well

Brought his own players

Need 10 games

Expectations too high

Dust ourselves down

Roll wor sleeves up

No wins in god knows how many games

Everybody tells me what a good squad of players we've got on paper but we're not seeing it on the pitch.

ouch!!

Everyone probably told the players how good he was at management and motivation but they’re not seeing it on the training ground or dugout.

It's hard to feel sorry for the west brum fans, after all they wanted him even after legions of fans who'd previously had the mispleasure of Bruce told them whst would happen. They mocked, thru ridiculed, they victim blamed and didn't listen.

Now they are the victim. Enjoy.

Location scenes were filmed in Ireland but it was written, produced (by a London company) and all interior shots filmed in studio in London. Admittedly though, the two main writers are both Irish (whilst writing it in London). Let’s call it an Irish/UK show- it’s good wherever it comes from.

Listen, Father Ted is an Irish show that English funded.

You can however lay full claim to Mrs Browns Boys :)

The magic of the Steve collective. Guaranteed to turn your club to utter shit in no time at all.

The sooner clubs realise this absolute abomination is only in it for the pay offs the better. Get this greedy useless cunt out of football

Best thing that can happen for WBA fans now is that he continues to lose and they can sack him before they experience the full extent of how bad he is and the sniveling sacks of shit that he and his son are.

This is so true.  The absolute worst course for WBA now is Bruce getting a run of wins and thus securing a second season.  That will just cause Bruce's influence to seep into the club and lead to a longer term decline in standards across every aspect.  Right now, he's just battering their short term outlook and they could sack him before the summer with minimal damage.

Some of his comments mind are simply not true, there was no personal abuse of Bruce directly which he’s insinuating.

I often called him a fat cabbage headed cunt mind, not sure if he heard though.

He got off very lightly, especially at the ground.

Think Ambrose was referring to the Twitter melts.

To be fair he never stood a chance at West Brom, we broke his heart with our callous and viscious personal attacks. Newcastle fans essentially finished Steve Bruce as a manager after all the time and effort he put into his boyhood club. He deserves better. Steve just wasn't ever going to returned to the once in a generation manager that he was after the pain he endured.

Posting ahead of his buddies that will defend him with this kind of hyperbole in the press.

Yep. The abuse line is a myth. Personal attacks and abuse on social media are present at EVERY SINGLE PL club's fanbase. Unfortunately it's part of the job. If you can't hack that then you shouldn't be a PL manager. Bruce harped on about abuse and death threats in a press conference once and it's blown up to now. Bruce isn't on social media anyway so unless his son is cherry picking tweets and/or messages to tell his dad or is outright lying to his dad about said 'abuse' then there's no way he first-hand would've seen anything.

In the ground, funnily enough 2 years ago today (29th Feb actually) was the last game at SJP with fans in before COVID struck. In his first season 2019-20 which had fans in, he never got any kind of abuse at all. No fans were in the ground last season. This season SJP turned on Bruce at Southampton (h) because the performance was embarrassing and shit but it was never outward screaming abuse at him, it was boos at HT, FT and when the ball went near him. From there on in it was merely chants of 'we want Brucie out'. Hardly vitriolic.

Such a fucking myth that I'm sick of it.

I think he's right to mention expectations actually.

It was too much, one might almost say 'delusional', of the West Brom fans to expect not to drop 10places in the league upon appointing him.

Doesn't surprise me at all.
