Apparently didn’t/can’t recall Edwards’ tale of the two having a pint in Florida. Same person also said he went to see Bruce at the training ground one day - having seen him in the morning as players returned - but was told he wouldn’t be there as he (Bruce) was going to Portugal. He didn’t believe it but it was 100 per cent true and Agnew and Clemence took training without the manager. The story of training being delayed until 3.30 one day because Bruce was on a later flight back from Portugal is also apparently 100 per cent true.
