Benwell Lad
Some of the stuff quoted on here from RTG reads like Trump truth social rants. Basically just spout anything, factual basis not required, that suits your warped agenda.

Their "shit-tip" is literally a landfill site, on reclaimed land from the old Monkwearmouth pit.
Scoot
Radio ones big weekend heading to Sunderland next May. Remember how dead against and embarrassing they thought it was to wear a Newcastle top to a Sam Fender gigg? I look forward to seeing absolutely no sunderland shirts at this event next May. You know with them being so horrified by football shirts at music events and all that.
ToonMonkey123
I think if they were in our league it’s a bigger game than Sunderland. They just understand us more. I honestly think Tyne-tees Derby is one of biggest in the country.

It's just such a weird one way rivalry. They also reckon they would never accept Saudi money like we have . I'm 47 and genuinely have never given a shite about Middlesbrough. Was always just another game. Honestly don't know a single NUFC fan who gives an toss about them. I was actually quite pleased for them when they won the League Cup 20 or so years ago. Compare to when the mackems got to the Final in 2014 and went 1-0 up I felt physically sick! Whitley mag
Boro used to always be a more fearsome away day for a bit argy bargy but in terms of regional significance it definitely mattered to them more than us. Chris_R
48 here, and I've been to lots of Tyne-Tees derbies. Would probably rather beat them than a team that's a complete irrelevance geographically like Sheff Wed or Luton etc (No offence to those teams, I'm talking literally geography here), but that's about as far as I'd go. In terms of who I'd want to beat it'd be Sunderland first obviously, then the cartel 6, then maybe Boro would be in the tier below that along with teams that had specifically annoyed me lately. They always seemed as a fanbase to have frothing hate for us, but it never really registered for us. I feel exactly like @Wallsendmag, often I've kind of wished them well and been able to "enjoy" their success as being good for the region and I have a couple of smoggy mates who I'm pleased for when they do OK. Quite enjoyed them being decent in the 90s with Juninho etc. They were a fun team.
