I also assume that 'interviee' isn't a misspelling and it's just how 'interview' is pronounced phonetically down there

TK-421
Just seen their result. Absolute poetry for that lad to score the winner. That'll hurt them more than the result!

TBG
Presumably Port Vale fans didn't see Sunderland as their cup final, or were they showing solidarity by having just as many empty seats as the Stadium of Light?
Optimistic Nut
Fans turning on some of the players people were wanting us to have bought back in October time (Diarra thread for example).

Too many forrins in their team and they just don't get the FA Cup. Almost like no foreign player ever played a legendary part in English cup finals or anything
Andy84
Is there a Port Vale fan on RTG yet? “thought your fans were class, best I’ve seen, can’t stand Newcastle. Best of luck for the rest of the season”

Really shocked they didn't go all out for this and rested a load of players. Ridiculous as they'd be in the quarter finals of the FA cup and an easy draw (which thry always find) away from the semis. Surely with palace and ourselves showing teams can defy the odds and bring it home would spur them on and with what we've seen all season, end up 1 shot winning their way to a final. It's not like they've got a busy schedule. Ridiculous really. I'd be fucking furious if I were them. Really puts a dampener on the season.

They even released a t-shirt to commemorate the 1-0. If the return match goes against us as well, that would be two commemorative t-shirts from a single season
Ashley17
Probably their first really bad result since August when they lost to Huddersfield and Burnley. Also I hate the DOGSO interpretation these days. How is it not a clear opportunity to score when there’s no goalkeeper? Yes there’s a defender but it’s barely relevant, as long as the ball hasn’t gone hideously wide or off the pitch entirely it is a clear opportunity to score.
