Well it doesn't reflect domestically, comparing like for like drawing power in the championship/2nd Division will probably only be about 95% in our favour and domestically is all we can go off on account of their having virtually no record in Europe. But those two games 50years ago and legends like Ball and Kay must have struck a chord with people globally in a different way to clubs that have spent most of the last 50years outside the top division and offering nothing when in it and having no identity or icons in other countries do with us

Netflix……….don’t forget the reach of Netflix 🤣🤣

I liked that documentary series about Sheffield United back in the day. Would like to see Man United do that. Still I bet the fact they've been bigger and better than Sheffield United in every possible way other than who had a warts and all documentary is some consolation.

horrible question.......

Have they had a better window than us so far?

They're fishing in a different pond mate. We wouldn't be interested in any of their signings.

Xhaka would be a good signing for us like, he was one of the best players in the bundesliga last couple of seasons. He wouldn't start but hed be good back up to Bruno, Tonali and Joelinton, it's an amazing signing for a newly promoted team and will help them no end.

Course they've had a better window than us, have massively improved their squad and got a good feel around their club. It's sickening like and I csnt believe Xhaka was so intent on going there.

Yeh i get that but even so, window for window, theyve achieved more of their objectives id think. FWIW i think we are fishing in the wrong pond entirely, least they turned up at the right one [emoji38]

Either be an absolutely inspired signing or disastrous. Old head amongst young lads or a too slow card machine.

Fair play to them they’re going for it (17th) if nowt else.

They’re absolutely fucked either way if they don’t sign a centre half or two though. Albeit seeing Lewk and Ballard getting roasted every week will be amusing.

Still cannot get my head around this one.

Why would Xhaka even use the word Sunderland in a sentence, never mind join? Madness.

Erik ten Hag is his current manager.  I think he might just be desperate to get away.

I always thought Xhaka was a good player but over weight..then a few years ago I seen him stripped off and he was ripped to fuck. ( for the record it was just the top half  )

I think it will be a good signing for the twats.  But if he plays 90 mins every game for them he will struggle later on in the season.

They really hold onto that documentary like it's a proud staple in their history. The only reason people watched was because it was an up close look at a team that was completely imploding.

Its like an expose' documentary of some bloke thats just been rumbled for scamming or something, that nobody is impressed by and more likely laugh at, but he just loves that he's been on tele, shows all his mates and is warmed by the idea that more people around the world have seen him than the average person.
