Wallsendmag
I always forget about the tickets and travel sub forum and it seems like others do! Forest on sale Thursday - 125 points It sounds like we're only getting 2000! Were getting 2,002 tickets which is pathetic really in a 30k stadium which is always 10k short of capacity. Not sure why this growing trend has come in where clubs would rather have blocks of empty seats instead of paying supporters sat there. After all it is supposed to be a spectator sport is it not? Clearly the 3,000+ or 10% of capacity rule doesn't apply in the Championship so I think we should go down the Leeds/Forest route and cut the away allocation when we play them up here. We can sell the tickets to Newcastle fans instead.

We could sell out more of our home tickets to Newcastle fans so maybe it's a route we should go down as well. Just seems to be a growing trend this season. Villa kept a stand closed rather than give us more tickets as did Barnsley and as will Hull.

Figures 1-0 Football
Ridiculous that Leeds & Forest can give such tiny allocations despite their ground sizes. Even with Forest's reduced capacity they still hold 24,357. 10% would give us over 400 tickets more. Give them both 500 when they come up to ours, wankers. U2
What's the reason for giving us such relatively small allocations versus the clear demand? Is it a case of opponents wanting to limit our fans impact on the atmosphere at the ground or are there practical issues, such as cost of increased policing/stewards? The Mirror report that United had attempted to resurrect one of the club’s most popular shirt sponsor deals but the Magpies have been unable to agree a deal with Brown Ale’s owners Heineken. It means that Newcastle are still looking for a new sponsor for next season with their £9million deal with Wonga about to expire.

Ronaldo
Well, I know a top with Brown Ale on it will sell much better than Wonga or EasyJet.
Mattoon
100% would prefer a top with Brown Ale on it, bet it would shift a truck load too, whatever we may lose in sponsorship from a morally corrupt corporation we'd probably gain in shirt sales. If either of those amounts make it to Rafa's available spend is a totally different question like.
Hanshithispantz
Pretty hard not to associate a brand with Newcastle that has 'Newcastle' in the name, mind. Newcastle Brown Ale is shite like, but as a sponsor I'd prefer them over most.
