Following Botman there for the photoshoot perhaps? Can't be long now until its announced.

Yep isn't Howe on holiday still. Ashworth will likely be the one shaking hands in the picture with Botman.

Throughout, Newcastle found Lille difficult to deal with. Although the French club made it clear Botman was not for sale mid-season and rejected at least two bids, their negotiating stance this summer regularly changed, meaning the Premier League side found themselves believing a deal was close, only for fresh demands to emerge. Once Ashworth arrived, he informed Lille this was their final, take-it-or-leave-it offer and, with Milan unable to match it, Newcastle had their man.

I like his style.

He doesn't know what he's doing man. Geordie_69 and Mad_Mag would have had James Maddison through the door by now. This fan base is apparently blessed with hundreds of folk who are fantastic at negotiating for high level assets.

Of course he pioneered this over here.

Honestly we should not be at all worried about how we handle our business these days, I can’t stress it enough.

A fair few mentioned this at the time that Dummett signed his extension that perhaps this was why. Now obviously Dummett still has a couple of years left in him as a squad player but can definitely see him doing this role before too long.

This cunt lifter a finger yet?

He’s been quite busy, out and about  around a fair few local retail outlets. Likes stotties, Milky Ways, people’s fathas (:anguish:) and unprovoked rudeness (allegedly).

Paul Huntington would be a good choice for this role.

Dummett has been heading in that direction for a while, he regularly attends the youth games and joins in with training and aside from his injury problems is a model professional. He does an awful lot more for this club than his first team duties.

he is still second choice left back though and needs to train with the first team, whereas Huntington can be with the reserves the whole time

Yeah Dummett is the obvious choice and maybe even Ritchie and Fede but they might have other ideas about the rest of their careers.

There’s players that earn 100k+ a week and by the time they hit early 30’s, they’ll be set for life, for the ones who might have been on a meagre 30 grand a week, they will obviously be able to live a good life if they don’t spend foolishly, but if they want to continue keeping their wag in the life they are accustomed to, taking up coaching is probably the thing to do unless they are a personality that can do well on tv.
