What’s this about?

He signed the book of remembrance for the Queen so they now hate him, want him to go back to Sunderland and will boo the minutes silence tomorrow night

Think it’s a few things that have combined together.
1 Liverpool is a city that was built from Scottish and Irish immigration.

2 they’re not just booing the queen as such they are booing the levels of inequality with in the country and the r rise of poverty.

3 Shankly was a socialist which bleeds in to the culture of the club somewhat

4 I think the Hillsbrough disaster, played a part in the feeling of otherness among the Liverpool fan base, they’re not just rejecting the queen, but the idea of English or British identity

Henderson is a good lad who’s made the absolute most of his footballing ability due to being a model professional. Wonder if in three years we’ll see him do a season or two for the mackems. Can see Klopp wanting to phase him out relatively soon

Recent example being the Super League which they were seemingly all for. "Club like Liverpewl deserves to be in Super League, lah. History means we should get more"

I saw some of that. Don’t  know how wide spread amongst the Fan base though.

Never thought about it but now that I do the Liverpool fans that I know (4 from up here) we're for it. Kind of "don't want to but it's the natural way for things to go so aye" type shite.
