Pretty sure this is the case, but the thought of rewarding both Isak and Liverpool's behaviour by giving them what they want makes me feel sick.

Happy to have rid of him just not to them.

The big risk is that another player, say Tonali, will be next.

The only hope is that Isak brings in so much money and puts us in a PSR position where the "just take the money" option on a want-away player is less appealing. One reason this is happening is PSR shackles.

From what I’ve heard, probably the biggest problem we’ll have IF Isak was to stay would be reintegrating him into the squad. The level of anger from some of our players towards his behaviour has apparently been significant.

Heartening to hear. Great bunch of lads we have at the club, man.

Id imagine our Brazilian contingent will not appreciate the slight on their second home.

Yeah, I've laughed at a few people thinking Bruno is going to be playing the arm around the shoulder nice captain role. I'm not sure that one will come naturally to him.

Would people still be sad if we sold Isak and used the money(PSR headroom) to buy Sesko, Wissa, Paqueta and Guehi? Or someone of similar quality.

Even if we got £150m for Isak, would that cover all four of them?  150m doesn't go very far when you're talking about buying multiple players with it.

But we already had money to spend this window

For a year it would, but the usual PSR disclaimers about paying for future years apply.

About to, as in when?

Probably not this window due to his latest injury but don’t see him getting an extension and could be gone on loan in January ahead of making it permanent for a sensible fee in the summer.

PSR wise it would cover it for a couple of years atleast.

Certainly hope you're right.

Let's be honest - were built on unity. He's broke that trust.

Of course but it doesn't necessarily mean it's a lost cause. Nobody's perfect.

Moot point probably as it seems like we're selling him if Sesko comes.

How long before "Isak feels like he's being forced out of the club as Newcastle look set to complete Sesko deal. Isak was told he would be welcomed back but now feels like the club have turned their back on him. This can't go on"

Is there any reason he couldn't just be loaned out for a year to one of the big clubs in Italy, Germany or Spain? Even if we covered some of his wages.

Obviously a bit ridiculous we should even be thinking of doing such a thing with a player who willingly signed a contract with us like but he is such a massive cunt it seems preferable to keeping him around.

Surely not even our media are that ridiculous. It's clear that Isak has engineered this move.

Liverpool think they are this super efficient well run club and therefore will box clever. Why bid against themselves etc etc. Guarantee they don't offer more than 125m max.

A gentleman's agreement or even a release clause for next summer at 150m is actually a very fair agreement - he'll still only be 26, coming into his prime. Shearer was 26 when we signed him.

Isak, Sesko but would still like to see Wissa this window for future planning. Would be great options for a CL season. Osula could go out on loan late on - and be ready for when Isak leaves next summer.

It's Liverpool that are in for him, their bias will do their best to shield him from any negative PR.
