Mods punctuation is all over the shop. They are rattled.

If there’s one market where ‘shrewdies’ don’t exist, it’s player transfer markets (and next manager markets).

There's always people with more information than the vast majority.

Anyways, I think 6/5 is huge price so have bet on it, max punishment if he leaves :)

Wasn't a short comment mate, Sky were the ones pushing the £120m, i'm sat watching it.

Likewise. They just reported what others are going with, quickly at the end of the breaking news about our rejected bid.

And they are the ones that aren’t allowed to bet on it…

Of all the big swinging dick moves, us announcing this week that Isak has signed a new deal will be the biggest of them all.

That right now is a bigger statement of intent then any club record signing.

Liverpool need a striker but they need to shift players to fund it. So far Nunez hasn't looked like going to Saudi and it appears the Napoli move has fallen through with them going for cheaper options in Lucca. Diaz move has also yet to come through. The tragedy around Jota, as awful as it is to say, has added to this.

I think they want Ekitike personally but don't currently have the freedom in the market to move unless they were to take risks on selling after they've already bought. This seems to be a bit of a power play against us - I'd be amazed if they actually went up to what we'd ask for (£150 million+).

We'll see. Honestly I think whatever happens we're in a pretty strong position. Unfortunately a big sale is definitely coming down the track at some point.

Theyve been expecting clubs to fall over themselves for Nunez who flopped and Diaz who they definitely do not want to sell yet want to sell.

They must also be shocked no takes have come forward for Elliot for the small fee of 50m

Wankstein in the mud!

I can't keep up with reporters.

I could've sworn most people tossed him off relentlessly not long ago but I'm seeing more and more hate of late.

Am I mixing him up with someone else or where did it all go wrong?

Be interesting to see how far they push it from this point. I'm on a lazy day today, nowt else to do so might as well monitor it, not obsessed at all [emoji38]

That’s because we are. Liverpool chancing their arm doesn’t change the fact that we are the ones in complete control of whether we sell a player or not. They’ll get told to fuck off.

Saudis better not bail Liverpool out on Nunez.

They also went in big on Wirtz early on which has left them relying on sales in other areas. I think he'll be a great player for them but it definitely had hamstrung their flexibility in the market a bit.

Liverpool cunts know what they are doing though either way. They are ensuring if we want to keep Isak and keep him happy then we need to give him fortunes in his new contract.

Also potentially driving up the price for Ekitike if they are entering the race.

Whatever the outcome, it's going to hit us in the old financials.
