I still find it crazy they want both Ekitike and Isak up front - they are literally the same type of player, I don't understand the logic behind it?

Yes - me neither. And if they really wanted Isak, then they would let us sign Ekitike, because basically we are not selling because of that

We apparently did tbf.

I don't believe that for one second. I suspect the idea was to get Ekitike and then slowly move Isak on, however it completely blew up in our face and now we're left in this dilemma.

Yeah pretty much, tall body frame, glides through players, holds up the ball well.. times runs perfectly - can't header the ball for shite. All he needs to do is just spit on the pitch every 30 seconds and that awkward sliced volley and he's basically Isak.

You're a better man than me. I saw the cup game being mentioned once on Sky Sports News and just turned the tv off.

For the optics if Isak was to stay or had to, it would be almost mandatory that he sacks his agent and publically hangs him out to dry. And if in the interview or press conference puts the blame on him it will allow him to carry on with a semblance of normality this season.

Isak’s got that twitchy blink thing going on too, not as bad as Tourette’s but definitely some sort of physical tick. Him and Gordon both do it

Ekiteke got that ?

I can picture Isak clenching his fists watching Ekitike score. Tears streaming down screaming "it should've been me!" [emoji38]

Isak on a teams call with his agent and Romano, hyperventilating: “I’m an important player, I command an important fee. I’m a somebody.”

His agent gets involved in shootings and fire bombings and is banned from doing business with various clubs and is pals with Putin’s mate Abramovich

Not sure Isak has the bollocks to sack him

He’d have to ask Big Jow to do it for him

Isn't his agent some Swedish gangster or something ?

Maybe there's been a reverse Gerrard ?

Just watched the Charity Shield match in Lanzarote. Purposely wore my Newcastle top to start a conversation. Sure enough I was told we shouldn't keep Isak against his will. I then mentioned the fact that Gerrard asked to leave for Chelsea but he was threatened with a knee capping.

That was a conversation ender.
