Can't believe how Simon Jordan has won me over this summer

I am really surprised if he has the guts to not change his mind after that meeting. Yasir wont back down if he feels like being disrespected

He really can prepare for 3 years hiatus now

Cunt Ben Jacobs just been on talkshite - "all the noise is coming from the Newcastle side, Liverpool have kept silent, waiting for Newcastle to give them permission to speak to Isak"

Breathtaking nonsense, how the fuck do they get away with it?

Based on what? We've attempted to facilitate the move for months.

Liverpool have played all their cards outside of raising their bid, which they seem reluctant to do.

I find it amazing that they rate Wirtz higher or very similar to Isak in terms of transfer value, especially the premium you have to pay for centre forwards.

Ekitike also looks like the real deal, surely getting someone like Wissa in for them to just have another option that guarantees goals whilst Ekitike develops would make more sense, I really don't think they need Isak. They desperately need a top centre back.

It's been mentioned that the owners met him at his residence yesterday (wherever that is now), would be interesting to see what the outcome was. It's being reported that they were trying to convince him to stay, but could just as easily be informing him that they'll let him rot on the sidelines for 3 years if they have to. I don't know if it was just Jamie Reuben who met with him, but can't imagine Yasir would be too too conciliatory with an employee downing tools.

I think the message will most likely have been you are staying for this season so pull your finger if you want us to help you find a new club next year. Otherwise you can sit on the sidelines for the rest of your contract if you want to be too precious.

I can’t see any other reason for them to meet him in person, but to get him to stay or sign a new contract.

If they want him to rot or sell him, then they won’t waste their time going to his Premier Inn.

They, like us, will rate him much higher, which is why he'll have been instructed to make himself persona non grata so that it would tank his value and they'd get him cheaper.

Would expect some movement by end of today following the meeting. Either it’s confirmed he’s off, we up bids for key players and get it all thrashed out in 48 hours.

Or, we say he’s staying and Isak agent uses the media guys to kick up more of a fuss.
