You kidding, not a hope in he'll of him and his agent losing bonuses, else he would of put in a transfer request.

They'll make enough on his Liverpool contract to cover those 10 times over.

lol, pathetic stuff from the club club. Buckled at the very point where if we want a replacement it’ll cost us the most as well

It’s easy labelling them as pathetic and everything on here and I get it but end of the day, they’re the only ones that’s sat down and spoke with him and truly know the real lay of the land. We need to put a system in place so in the future no one player can hold us to ransom and that means proper leadership team from the top right down. That should be our next aim, after one more striker today of course, get that done I’ll be delighted personally.

Could do with some clarity on this like. I'm sure it'll come out in the wash, but is the consensus we got £130m and Isak may have foregone his loyalty bonus?

Isak may have forgone bonuses, his agent may have have forgone fees or Isak/his agent may have just straight up paid us the extra £5m to make it happen.

Will take a view at 19:01 after I've seen what we do. It's a shame the fee isn't higher but gut instinct says the manager and squad didn't want that toxic presence hanging around, so getting rid at a lower fee was reluctantly the most suitable option. Not convinced it sets any sort of precedence.

Scouse tinted press reporting the lower numbers, but we'll have achieved nigh on £140 mill with £100 Mill clear profit if as it appears he gave up his bonuses.

Bonuses which of course the dippers will pay him, but that obviously won't be reported.

Eddie on the steps of St James this morning, "fuck the rat, and we are only going to get better with this money that we have got for the pea sized heart judus"

Eddie on the steps of St. James this morning

"fuck the rat, and some of you lot need to calm down. You think running a football club and team is as easy as FM"

If he's given up his bonuses, we realise nearon  £140 Mill, won't be reported that way though.

Liverpool rummaged through our bin and found a fucking blood diamond here

And instead of just nabbing it and scarpering fast, they filmed themselves doing it while teabagging us and giving us the Vs, laughing the entire time

Once that meeting last week went the way it did there was only one outcome. All this talk of ‘make him rot in the reserves’ was absolutely fantasy land from supporters. Move on, he’s done.

Absolutely.

The club's success under Eddie is built on the team spirit and unity.

Whilst we'd all have wanted more from the sale, sometimes you can't put a price on what effect having his toxic presence around the club could cost us over the next 6 months (minimum).

He's gone, and we as a club can focus and move on now.

I also remain unconvinced by Slot. I'm not certain Isak's development will continue like it has under Eddie.

No they haven’t, he was never going to play for us again - that was abundantly clear. Let’s just finally blame the only person there is to blame and he’s a wanker.

Yup. Reading between the lines, the club have been actively pursuing the sale for weeks as was clear by our activity in the transfer market. At some point, through his own actions, his career here became impossible to salvage and it was decided that it was best for all parties to move him on.

Time to put this mess behind us as a fanbase and get behind the players who remain. Hopefully we can get a body through the door today.

I suggest any rational fan to stay off social media today like. It's just going to be grim. The Lagos/Kerala/London Liverpool fans will be tweeting 23 hours a day no doubt.

Honestly at this point I think the only thing to do is stay off football altogether for a bit. He's going to be there for years, getting rammed down our throats on a weekly basis. Nah, fuck that, I'll do something else.

It has to be business related as well right? As much as I want Isak to rot and/or play for us again, you can understand how the club can’t countenance that with the money involved. It’s like writing off your most valuable asset.

Hate everything about the deal TBH, but I imagine it’s at least partly money related. While PIF can afford to write Isak off easily, NUFC can’t.

None of the fees quoted are enough. It's absolutely pathetic from the club to buckle given Liverpool have bullied them into it.

Brentford can withstand pressure, why cant we? We've let Liverpool dictate the terms for probably the best striker in the world.

It's soft as shit from the club.

BBC saying it was £125 million.  Isak foregoing a "loyalty bonus" is a fucking joke and doesn't give us any more money to spend on a replacement.

You’ve been saying this for a good month now, haven’t you?
