Malang Sarr, Chilwell and Cucurella earning more than Jorginho [emoji38]

I’m sure Gallagher is happy getting around ten times less than Sterling as well.

Been looking at the amount of Everton have spent on absolute shit in the past 4-5 years. It's absolutely insane. Some highlights:

- Keane - 25m.

- Tosun - 27m.

- Gbamin - 25m.

- Moise Kean - 27.5m.

- Mina - 27.5m

- Schneiderlin - 24m

- Klaasen - 24m

- Iwobi - 35m

- Sigurdsson - 45m

How the fuck are they still in business?

Even this summer they spent £50 million on Garner, McNeil and Maupay.

They're the ultimate cautionary tale in how easy it is to spend a lot of money on players who aren't good enough to take you to another level. The 15-30 million pricepoint is so dangerous. Can very quickly just waste hundreds of millions going nowhere.

Surely Reece James deserves a pay increase.

Maybe we should offer him one :shifty:

He's on 250k p/w according to the Chelsea forum. It's supposed to be the same deal Mount is wanting to renew at.

Everyone likes a bit of schadenfreude but fucking hell are Everton an absolute mess. The whole club from top to bottom. Only positive thing about the whole thing atm is their new stadium, but won't it financially fuck them if they get relegated? We've seen how Spurs' ground hampered them financially for a bit, how screwed will Everton be if they're in the Championship lumbered with cost of that as well as players on inflated wages who they paid inflated fees for? Bloody hell.

Football's mad like, no idea what Everton did to draw with Man City away,  or what happened after, because that follow up match at home to Brighton was as bad as it gets.

In 1988, we won at Liverpool one weekend, only to then get horsed 3-0 off Coventry the week after. Cost Willie McFaul his job.
