Paullow Posted April 12, 2023 Share Posted April 12, 2023 (edited) Yeah, can have 5 places, but not 6, so it would only become an issue if we finished 4th, Man U lower than that, but also won the Europa. It's very unlikely all 3 of those will occur to make it the worst case scenario, but I'd rather it be impossible instead of 'very unlikely', so aye, hoping Chelsea go out in this round just to eliminate that scenario altogether as early as possible. Both of them have to win the European competitions they're in. If 1 of them fails to win their competition, 4th place is still a champions league spot as England is allowed a maximum of 5 entries into the champions league.
