Deserved it like, City are pathetic  so much money spent and this is what they have to show for it.

They are so weird and disjointed, not long ago they seemed to have a worldie in every position there's a lot of middling players now

We could have beaten City if we weren't so fatigued. Been awful defensively. And passive in possession.

Ugh can see Man U going in a run now til the end of the season. No excuses for them now.

Side note*

Sky commentary is a disgrace as usual. How we have gone so long having to listen to Gary Neville on every single Man u game they show is ridiculous. Was bad enough when they were shit and he was just moaning and groaning but now we have to hear him jizz himself. :anguish:

This is where i think our formation doesn't help us at times against teams like Man City. Man Utd have had a proper narrow 3 in CM, two holding with Fernandes (roaming when they have the ball) in front, our three CM's are spread wide. The Man Utd have set up has restricted Man City set up like this.

We never really dominate games as we never have the numbers in the middle, i wish Eddie would tweak that sometimes especially against teams like Man City, Brighton are another who give us problems in the middle of the park.

They've pissed away so much money and again because they've juiced up before the rules were changed it doesn't matter because the will just keep throwing money at it.

Guardiola might be burnt out though, obviously his private life is shambles and he's been working none stop for years

Just shows we give them far too much respect Tuesday...

We had our chances. They certainly didn't play like this on Tues, and i don't think it had anything to do with showing them too much respect.

Another few weeks and I have a feeling we won't recognise Semenyo.

This side to side bollocks is going to make him so much more passive. Can already see it starting to creep in.

Playing against deep defences a lot more in City. No room to make mazy long runs.

Man U will.make the Champions League with Carrick in charge. We are way off it this year, 7th at best.

I'm sure some people just find a way to be negative, even when it has nothing to do with us.

If we could have we should have, that being said we are obviously exhausted.

Can we just confirm. If we somehow weren’t off the back of two huge, draining games and we had Man U’s current squad. Then if we played like this against City. Then we would have beaten them?

We have done it before and have beaten them already this season. We had our chances to beat them the other day too. Man United have just replaced their manager and aren't in Europe or any other tournaments for that matter. All they have is to go all out here in a local derby and sort their league form out. It's nothing like the same scenario for them. Just people finding any opportunity to whinge about us imo.

I tell you one thing I am really looking forward to - Guardiola to let rip about the Dalot tackle on Doku after 10 minutes which should have been a red card. He's already raging with VAR after the shambles on Tuesday, I think he could snap
