Papu Gomez paid a witch to slow down Lo Celso's recovery so that he would have a spot in the Argentine World Cup roster. This is the true reason that Papu Gomez will not be present during the World Cup winners' celebratory friendlies.

Alejandro Gómez was deleted from the Argentine National Team by the squad and by Lionel Scaloni for a very particular reason: he performed black magic against Giovanni Lo Celso to prevent him from recovering from his muscle injury. And just that happened since he had to be operated on.

Weeks before the World Cup, Papu Gómez wanted to ensure his presence among the 26 mentioned and within that context, he decided to use a resource that is frowned upon in football: black magic

Gomez kicked from the Argies squad for hiring a witch to make sure he made it to the World Cup [emoji38]

Here’s a stupid idea for a rule to try to create some drama.  If you’re sent off for non violent offence you can be subbed back on.

I know it’s daft.  Just drunk and chuckling  about  the Hollywood story of; player sent off subbed back on scores a winner.

Fuck sake, went and gave Wenger a new idea there.

Apple are apparently going to bid for the EFL rights. Every Championship, League One, League Two, and potentially the EFL Cup and EFL Trophy is available, including the Saturday 3pm KO’s. They may even allow some games to be broadcast for free. They have a similar deal with the MLS.

Probably been mentioned before, but if Southampton, Bournemouth and Palace (or conceivably West Ham) are relegated and replaced by Burnley, Sheffield Utd and Boro (or conceivably Blackburn) it will knock a couple of thousand miles off our traveling next season.  Give the PL a much more northern tilt.

Yes, because slightly pushing someone is the same as kung fu kicking someone with football boots on.

The match referee really isn't just "someone" in this context.  The rest of Fulham's season is eleven games.  I suspect he'll get close to that.

Such an obvious thing to say, but if it was Harry Kane rather than Mitro, they'd all be falling over themselves to play down what he did.

"Yeah there's contact but its not violent"
