Am I right that at most, Liverpool can only match our 69 points? So as long as they don't make up the +7 goal difference in our favour, we don't even need the points anymore?

Remember when we worried about Spurs?

Remember when we worried about Villa?

Remember when we worried about Brighton?

Remember when we worried about Liverpool?

Why even risk it? Let’s just spank Leicester and go off with a bang at our final home game.

Yep. But we're going to comfortably beat Leicester on Monday so it won't come to that.

Cheers. It also means we can basically play without all that pressure. Last home game of the season, nice evening out. Great end to the season!

Arguably perfect result that, all but garantees it, but means we can cinch it on our own terms at home on Monday.

Aye it will be that much more special clinching it in front of our own fans. Almost as satisfying as watching Liverpool blowing it in front of theirs.

Look, it’s technically possible that even if we do qualify for the Champions League it could be taken away from us by a points deduction for something.

If it comes to goal difference ours will be at least 2 less.  So Liverpool would need worse case to win 5-0.

I think if it came to goal difference they would do it.  So point is still 90% required.

Without being Nelly Negative, they’re six behind and if we lost both games to Leicester and Chelsea 2-0 they’d only need a 3-0 v Southampton to claw us in.

Think we get the point v Leicester to make it mathematically certain. Play the stiffs v Chelsea.
