Tiresias Posted January 3, 2023 Share Posted January 3, 2023 (edited) Pope - 8 did was needed, maybe would have been higher if he had more to do but was well protected and had one poor clearance Trippier - 8 - My motm, the problems came down the other side largely Schar - 8 - A rock Botman - 9 - A hard place Burn - 6 - Maybe harsh as was better later but if we were going to concede today it was probably from him being rinsed by Saka Longstaff - 7 - Excellent shithousery but limited passer Bruno - 6 - Maybe harsh but one of his poorer performances was too keen to offload the ball with too much ambition and lost it a few times Willock - 7 - Just doesn't offer too much at this level but lots of hard running Joelinton - 8 - Should have scored, and was doing is here there and everywhere act Wilson - 6 - Not sure his fault, he was getting fouls blown for breathing on them Almiron - 8 - Almost entirely for his superb tracking back Wood - 4 - Was useless. Needs binning asap. Murphy - 4 - Gone backwards. ASM - On too late to do anything or get a score We desperately need another defensive mid in to shore things up and a winger.
