Not sure where people are getting ‘not a penalty’ from. Take away both of a player’s legs anywhere else on the pitch and it’s a stonewall free kick.

Reid stamps Trippier first. Shocking that Dean doesnt see it in the VAR room

You though that was very poor?!!! My goodness ... think some people aren't realising what Fulham are doing this season, you should try and catch some of their other games.

That's fair. Fulham have been great this season, not an easy fixture for anyone.

Hmmm think that's harsh, they were doing a good away at a big team performance for a small team. Defensively solid and pressing us well at times. Our biggest problem imo is that we can struggle to create goals sometimes

They conceded about 2xg worth of chances.  That isn't a strong defensive performance.

Us v Arsenal away was a strong defensive performance, limiting them to barely a sniff.

If we aren't a little sluggish and wasteful, we're 1 or 2 up early and coasting.

We had 63% possession and 20 shots to their 5. We were lucky with the penalty incident, but on the balance of play we were worthy winners.

About time we scraped a win like that instead of yet another frustrating home draw.

Yeah, Fulham did a good job of keeping us out really. Their defensive shape is solid and Palhinha in particular is excellent protecting their defenders in his midfield role.

The Fulham player went studs up onto Trippier and then fell over the secondary contact from Trippier.  That's the first foul, where the contact that ultimately led to the penalty was initiated.

You can't foul a player initially, then claim a penalty cos after the foul you're taken out...

For anyone barging in with "it woz a pen, no question" - how do you counter the above?

It was a frustrating game again for the most part, but a few spells aside, I think people are overrating Fulham's performance like. I don't think Pope made a save? :dontknow:

They were tidy enough but it was a similar performance to Leeds from them, just defensively a bit more leaky.

We made the game closer than it should have been by being a bit wasteful in the final third.

How worried are you about Bruno? Not the injury but the fact he was crying in public. Can’t trust a “man” like that in our engine room.

I thought Leeds did a much better job on us than Fulham.

Nah we created a load of chances against Leeds which we should of put atleast one in the onion bag. Fulham restricted us more.

Did they have a shot on goal? Don’t remember one.

No. The Mitro failed pen doesn't count as one. Yet again we've played 90 minutes without even conceding a shot on goal.

This pretty much.

Fulham came to try and see the game out by slowing it down. They managed to make it scrappy in parts, our quality was beginning to show when Bruno got injured. There was a spell in the 2nd half where we had adjusted to having Bruno off and looked like scoring again, then the penalty decisions happaned. That slowed the game down a bit and it took us a little while to get going again.

Fulhan didn’t do anything that I wouldn’t expect from a mid table team coming for a point.
