He is surprisingly quick.

Once he gets going he can move and get away from danger, then doesn't over do it like some players and finds the next pass. Has the attributes to be top class by looks of it and only 19

So do people think Howe will move him into midfield in the next few games or just keep playing him at right back?

He said in his post-match presser he still views him as a midfielder rather than a fullback.

That said, I could could see him remaining there for another couple of games until Tino and/or Tripps are ready to start.

Yes I do feel our overall play would really benefit from his calmness and assured passing from midfield. Throw in the fact he’s a goal threat too - I think we’ve got a real player on our hands as he adds his physical presence and toughness.

Going off the last couple of games, the only midfield slot he could take is Sandro's. But it's not as simple as that. While his ball retention is fantastic, you have to factor in other things.

Bruno gave the ball away more yesterday, but he makes more line breaking passes and attempts to hold the ball until the right pass is on, so he's always going to come under more pressure.

Tonali is not at his best passing wise, but his speed in closing down and pressing the opposition is still second to none.

Not an easy decision, but I would probably just rotate and rest each player to keep them fresh.

Can imagine Miley continuing to play RB whilst Hall and Tino are rotating.  It was thought that Hall may have picked up another injury in a recent game but he was declared fit.  Whilst still decent yesterday, thought there were times he struggled so maybe there is something there.  Need to bring back Tino gradually and not burn Hall out so them alternating might be a solution in the short term.

I think it makes sense to keep him where he is, get more game time and confidence into him, gone his defensive side of the game and then when moves back into midfield will be ready. Also given injury issues with Hall/Livra then rotating them 2 on left best option.

Always looked a safe pair of hands on the ball, but I did have some concerns about him defensively. Happy to see that he’s really improved in that area recently though. If that continues, he looks like a top, Rodri-style CDM in the making imo.

When Howe goes to Man Utd id just put Miley in charge, player/manager

Here's a better idea, let Miley manage them part time, and play for us

Us lanky lads can cover ground m8.

yea I am quite similar, but he is not totally immobile the first few yards either. That usually is the problem with these guys. He couldnt play fullback if he was tho.
