Roids
Watched this dude for almost a decade in the Prem, he's not a good player. Congrats on whatever improvements he may be showing in Italy but let's relax on the revisionism. Not long before someone suggests we should sign Anthony. I said that his best attribute was finishing and I told you that Newcastle should've signed him. I was mocked. I remember someone here saying that he was a league 2 player Yeah. Well. That "league 2 player" is on the cusp of winning Serie A and winning the player of the year award. All the best. This is sad if true, that league used to boast the likes of R9, Crespo, Shevchenko, Seedorf, Adriano to name but a few. What a tragic falloff. ponsaelius
He hasn't been that good this season really in terms of general play. But he does have a very good eye for stealing goals when played a bit further forward. I was never down on signing him personally. Definitely think he would have been a very good fourth midfielder to strengthen that area as would Gallagher have been who people were equally not convinced on. However he is not really the right age profile nor would he have been a game changing signing. Edited 2 hours ago by ponsaelius
Kimbo
Surely we would’ve had to sell someone to buy him last summer anyway? Unless we’re talking about the previous year when we bought Tonali, should we have got McTominay instead?
The Butcher
Isn't he just a more mobile Kevin Nolan?

Kanj
I just think it’s good to see the player enjoying his football and doing well under a proper coach. Too often players are written off very quickly when they may perhaps be in an awful situation destined to do very little. See Longstaff under Bruce. Rich
I admire your pettiness game, TheDarkKnight. Got to take any win you can when you support Scotland and Man Utd, I suppose.
