Hope they do a more thorough medical than that tbh. The medical team aren’t even in Romania yet

Tonali had repeatedly said over the last few years that he would not consider leaving the Rossoneri.

But Milan directors had told Tonali they would not reject an offer close to €80m so they effectively pushed him to join the Magpies.

Yeah, tbf we already have a superb set piece taker in Trippier.

Alright he might have tailed off in that regard at certain points, but the major issue was definitely those on the end rather than those taking. That much was evident the few times Lascelles played, and we suddenly looked much more potent.

That said, it never hurts to have multiple players who can deliver with quality.

What we could really do with is a left footed set piece taker. Those days when we had a choice of Shearer/Solano on the right, and Robert on the left were the golden years of set pieces in recent history.

Nik the Bubble and Screech from Saved by the Bell getting on the end of them.

Tbf, those three just mostly cut out the middle men and planted them directly in the net.

True. Targett seemed to take his share when he was in the team (probably largely coincided with Trippier being injured mind).
