Think when he does leave, it'll be back to Italy for big money myself.

I won't begrudge him that either, he was a hometown boy, The decision to sell him was Milan's. Obviously I want him to be here for a few more years first.

Strongest midfield pairing we have had since I have supported Newcastle in my opinion. With Bruno and Tonali in the middle, we will always have a chance.

Maybe give Bruno a rest. 😉

Don't think we have to worry about that.  His agent came out and all but said Italian clubs are broke ass deadbeats and he won't be going back to Serie A anytime soon.

It's Spain I'd be worried about.

Tonali's best trait is that when his midfield teammates are having a bad day (like yesterday), he's capable of holding up the midfield ALONE... it happened often at AC Milan too.

And watch out for Reijnders, he's a beast... totally different from Tonali in terms of characteristics but just as effective for the team.

Who are you guys looking at replacing Reijnders with?

No one with those characteristics... Jashari is much more similar to Tonali, Ricci is an excellent prospect but very far from Rejnders and Modric is a pure playmaker.

To replace him, a young De Bruyne would be needed but in the European panorama someone like him doesn't exist.

What on Earth has gone on with Gimenez at striker? Seems you've given up on him already. Has he been really bad?

We actually like him quite a bit. He's not a champion, but he could be very useful to our game... I think Allegri thinks differently.

Jonathan David would have been a great signing (for free), he would have been the perfect replacement for Isak for you too.
