NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

Obviously not referring to those bullshit tweets but Dibling is the sort of player I'd expect to see through the door if Elanga doesn't happen. Young, British, relegated club... fits the profile.

Botman - July,

Isak - August

Tonali - July

Barnes - July

Tino - August

Hall - August.

June:

Targett - loan made permanent & relatively cheap

Pope -  relegated & pretty cheap

Minteh - cheap youngun' from the Danish league

Kelly - Free

We haven't made one big signing in June since the takeover. This is the month we sign someone. Maybe.

It's incredibly boring isn't it, what date do people think we'll sign our first player?

I'm guessing the 12th.

July 2nd.

You’d like to think we’ll have two in (one being Trafford) before we play Celtic and certainly before our trip to Korea.

Not that short term optics are that important you’d think the club would be keen to showcase a few new players on tour. Goes without saying EH will want them in ASAP as long as it’s the players he wants.

I see this stuff alot and I'm sure it's a simple slip and you meant 3 windows and not 3 years but i have seen it so often that it shows how easy things can start getting repeated as fact.

2 years ago we signed Tonali, Barnes, Tino, Hall and Minteh.

3 years ago we signed Isak, Botman, Pope and made Targett permanent.

So not fuck all and a large reason why we had to slow down and try and balance books the following windows.

Which is all fine and well until you factor in that we tried to spend £65m+ on Guehi last year.

So somethings amiss. Maybe our PSR position hasn’t been quite as dire as has been played out.
