Given that we're moving for long term targets you'd imagine Guehi and Gallagher will be next in line

Elanga

Ekitike

Trafford

Guehi

Gallagher

May need to sell more than Longstaff to sign that lot.

Could we bring in 70M combined for Longstaff, Willock, and Barnes?

upgrading those three to Elanga, Ekitike, and Gallagher would give us so much more strength and tactical flexibility in the attack and MF, and I think still leave us enough PSR headroom for Trafford and a CB?

only realistic if we sell Longstaff and a purple, maybe Gordon.

That lot would cost around 230-240m give or take. Lets say Gordon sold for 75m and Longstaff about 15m that would bring the net spend to around 150m which is realistic based on reports of our transfer kitty.

Heard a couple of people reporting that Frankfurt are prepared to be flexible on the structure of Ekitike deal, so may not hammer us for PSR as badly as it looks.

Have I misunderstood completely? I though, unless it's a loan with obligation to buy later or a ton of individual and team based add-ons that takes longer to fulfill than the length of his contract, it doesn't matter how the structure of the deal is.

It's his total cost spread over the length of his contract that is taken into consideration no matter if we pay them in installments or not?

10 year Chelsea style payment coming up!

Re: Gallagher, wasn't that already debunked by someone?

That is my understanding. Installments mean nothing.

Aye - Installments only beneficial for cashflow, not PSR

Loan with obligation could help though — that’s how we fit Hall into the same window as Tonali, Toni, Barnes, etc… No idea why Frankfurt would do that though.

Strap me to a milking table and wank me absolutely daft.

That line-up has the potential to win the league (barring any major injuries).

Would imagine we'd at least have to sell Barnes, Longstaff and Willock to come close to affording it though, so it'd leave us short in depth with a CL campaign to manage too... Will be a fun ride at least.

If the deal is for example 45 million + 20 million in easily achieved add ons, the add ons will count on the year they are activated.

Signing every single player that we've been failed with bids for in the past two seasons in the space of a month would be quite a flex.

Aye Mitchell held us back and cost us money on his wages. Fuckin fraud.

Only Matty Longstaff is slower than Bruno over the first 10 yards. He can’t run or shoot, pretty amazing how he overcomes these obstacles.

have you mixed up yer shortstaffs and your Longstaffs?
