Clubs like Brentford and Brighton have to be creative to find the players before they have got big league attention, we should at least be able to beat them to the lesser known talent pool. We are likely not able to bringing anyone in with wages more than he is on right now. Depends who it is but playing in the Premier League and Champions League with the likes of Tonali, Bruno, Isak etc is going to appeal regardless of how far down the list they supposedly are/were. I suppose there is still time for our "real targets" to get signed Most of the stuff we hear is just the same old crumbs thrown around by agents and journos, alot of it is just noise 100%. We defo wanted Pedro and Ekitike, we chased them since 22’ or perhaps even earlier. I do feel that we were aware that a move for Ekitike would draw out Liverpool though, we would have loved both him and Isak but as it all played out it looks like we end up keeping our main established striker. People obsess about all the transfer stuff (understandably so sometimes) and it just ends up like a mad house on here It is entertaining though.
