Shak
There were definitely stories about Eddie loving Osimhen a couple of years ago. Haven’t seen any indications he’s on our list this year though.

The lad from Porto looks a bit raw for the money he’d cost, but surely there must be an exciting young striker in Europe that’s not been linked yet ? If we are trying to future plan we should be all over Sesko. Goncalo Ramos

kingxlnc
If we bid 70m for Ekitike then bid the same for Osimhen and get it done. I know in that scenario, Isak becomes the Ekitike a little bit but would be even more fearsome than Isak and Ekitike as a partnership I know his salary is crazy but but use the Longstaff money towards jt

Rumoured to be a similar price to Ekitike.
B-more Mag
I’ve decided we should be in for Conrad Harder at Sporting. Know nothing about him but think he could bring a real Max Power vibe to the dressing room.

Isak and Bruno probably have wage parity clauses in their contracts. Osimhen ended up in Turkey for a reason, despite being Europe’s hottest striker the season before. Not a bad shout at 30m. That's how transfers work right with Liverpool bid half the asking price and moan when it doesn't work after?
KingArthur
Osimhen is a total non starter with his wage demands. I dont think we are after traditional no 9 in any case

So it’s hard to say. But we keep getting linked with £50m plus types. Which is great and makes a change from years gone by. But Trafford now seems massively over-priced, to me. So if he signs, that would surely take up a large chunk. I think we need a starting quality CB as a priority, followed by a CM who is capable of playing 20-30 games a season and contributing in a big way and then a back up striker. If there is any money left. Then I think a keeper would also be nice to have. I can’t see it, personally. Not all in one window/season. EDIT - I wonder if there are any loan to buy options out there that we could take advantage of? Similar to what we did with Hall? That just seems to be the market these days, I mean I was excited at the idea of signing Ekitike. But £70m+ for a player who's career total goals was less than Alex managed last season is utterly wild to me
Keegans Export
We were linked with Kalimuendo earlier in the window. More of an out-and-out striker like Delap than a Pedro/Ekitike type but should be affordable both in fee & wages, plus you think he'd jump at the chance to play PL and Champions League. Would mean we'd probably need to target a big name striker whenever Isak does leave.
RodneyCisse
The reason we’ve been linked to who we have is partly based around their current wages, we aren’t getting a post Saudi mega wage player anytime soon.

Optimistic Nut
Can we not trick PSR with the promise to players of multi-million pound jobs working for PIF once they hit 40? They can work from home if they like and don't even have to log-in.
