NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

That Savona isn't really up to scratch I don't think. Can't see it being him we're after.

I think if we're looking at a Juve centre back it will be Tiago Djalo, the guy that won Ligue 1 partnering our very own Sven Botman in France. I saw his name pop up as an option for us a month ago.

We were strongly linked with him before he joined Juve. He got injured early on there, and it didn't quite work out. Think he was on loan at Porto last year.

When all these expensive striker bids started going in for the likes of Pedro and Ekitike, it did make me wonder if we'd be saving money by getting Djalo in on loan initially, ash he'll likely be available on that sort of deal.

He fits more the sort of profile people want in a Botman partner, and already played with him and won a title doing so in France.

Did say after the Kelly transfer I wouldn’t be surprised if we bought a player off Juve this or the next window as some sort of bent deal like others have been doing.

Never heard of this lad mind.

We already do with Elanga signing tbf, still wouldn’t be enough. As the bare minimum we need a CB and ST imo.

We already are but we could be weaker by September. I think we'll be even stronger than we are now.

I thought we needed at least 3 new players before the window, in terms of squad depth.

Wilson has gone and Longstaff is about to leave also so we're technically 1 down.

We really could do with 4 more signings, but imagine we'll end up with 3.

Striker

Midfielder

Defender

Goalkeeper

Imo that's the priority order tho could easily switch around defender and midfielder

Have a feeling we might only sign two more players but would  be happy with first 3 even if it meant shelving keeper plans til next summer

We’ll sign a keeper, a defender & forward at the very least.

They have a 3rd choice keeper we can buy for 20m?

Everyone still confident we get what we need ?

Not everything. Right now I think ST is causing a bottleneck and we need to get it resolved ASAP. I think we can get Trafford and maybe a CB after that, but I doubt we get another midfielder. I would like Gallagher link to become something real but that might be asking too much.

Wissa, Lookman, Sesko and DCL can’t really think of any other strikers out there. The lad from Porto looks a bit raw for the money he’d cost, but surely there must be an exciting young striker in Europe that’s not been linked yet ?

If we are trying to future plan we should be all over Sesko.

I'm reasonably confident we'll get a centre half, a central midfielder and at least one pretty top notch striker. I wouldn't mind a cheaper one too, either a promising youth or an experienced older head (cough Jamie Vardy cough), just in case an injury crops up.

Do we have any academy lads good enough to step up?

Gyokeres & Osimhen too
