Generally with the quality of ACL surgery and intensive rehab people can usually get back to or close to their former levels. I can get someone back running at a basic level in 10-12 weeks then you can introduce change of direction and plyometrics. Obviously this is just with recreational athletes and Joe Public. Footballers have intensive daily rehab plans and analysis. Wilson has had two ACLs, one on each leg.
