STM Posted May 21 Share Posted May 21 I'd love someone like Gordon to have a word with him and tell him not to have the summer off... or at least look at the summer as an extended training camp. Have a couple of weeks away, sure but come back with the intention of being fitter and stronger than ever before. Pleased for him with the player of the month award. Funny enough, confidence, on the pitch at least, doesn't seem to be an issue. He always wants the ball under pressure, it's one of his biggest strengths. But I think he would actively lobby for someone like Gordon to get in this summer 'should Southgate approach him for his opinion'. This vs other PL full backs this season: Progressive with his passing and very proactive with his defending (which is probably also why he's making a relatively high amount of errors). Checko Posted May 22 Share Posted May 22 In his game against us for Chelsea last year there was one moment where he plays a 40 yard cross field ball over Dan Burn with his weaker foot. 1:30 here: Kid's got wonderful technique and looks physically solid.
