So sick of losing this fixture and the loss being so predictable. But we're going in the right direction and in a few years hopefully we can actually turn them over. Don't know how Spurs do it every season whilst being so shit.

We did it by playing the Conte/Mourinho way and having Son and Kane. Not complicated . I suspect we might have have actually got into their heads too.

It won’t happen this year.

Sometimes there's a place for it.

Do they fuck ? that side they had out last night was by far and away the best side in the league regardless of who was missing. (Not having a go at you, aimed at Pep if he really said they overcome adversity regularly).

Ha, aye, I was being sarcastic. Can't remember the exact wording but he did suggest his team overcome problems etc etc ???

Bloke's a fraud

The lack of a specialist defensive midfielder will cost us against the best sides. This fluid, interchangeable three sounds nice but it’s not what any elite side does.

And loads have already said it but yeah - Gordon, Miggy and Barnes aren’t creative players and are never going to shift momentum against the better sides. We will miss ASM plenty this season.

#HoweOut etc

Yeah you have acknowledge that we are way ahead of schedule - we are probably one summer window away - maybe 2, from

having what I would call a side that can really compete at the top.

We don’t have 1 or 2 world class players that other have - and it will show in games like yesterday - they are ultimately your difference makers

Foden aged 23 - 5 Premier Leagues, 2 FA Cups, 4 League Cups, 1 Champions League, U17 World Cup

Even couple of years ago by far best English player I've seen since early Rooney. Thought for a while he's under rated in terms of how good he is - last night's performance will highlight that now though. Boiled my piss during World Cup that Southgate didn't have him playing in CM.

Spurs only turn us over at there new stadium, we beat em 4-2 at the Etihad last season and beat them most seasons.

Hopefully we get some players back soon, but Kovacic is a brilliant signing from Chelsea for only £30m.

Yeah, seemed to fit like a glove.

What's it like as a City fan these days when there's nowt else left to win or achieve? Do you ever go into matches feeling nervous or any sense of jeopardy? Could you really give a shit if you don't win the title this year, after three on the bounce?

Not being a dick, just genuinely curious.

There’s still loads to play for, tbh I’d really like to retain the champions league trophy and emulate what Forest and Liverpool did, these are magical days that we won’t take for granted because of Pep, and the hatred we receive from the media drives us on.

We got beat by a better team. The only thing that I was disappointed with was how we looked leggy like the team who had played in 35C heat midweek not them. Onwards and upwards!

That’s what chasing the other team does. Our pressure was dominated by their ability to keep possessionz City has this ability to control the tempo and flow of the game. It’s ridiculous, how Ederson will absorb pressure, release the ball to Rodrigo/Kovacic that are being marked with players on their backs and they’ll play a quick pass to the CBs who then opens play out to the fullbacks and all we do is run and chase shadows.

As soon as we realize we are a few years behind the best team in the world the better.

It will be a long time before we can at your place tbh. We fully intend to comply with FFP so bridging the gap is extremely difficult.

Aye, let’s get rid of one of our very few homegrown players.

Have to admit i didnt take that into account.

Just think he brings limited value to the team if he is not running 90 minutes week in week out. And if we are ever going to sell him now is the time after being part of the first 11 last season.

Wtf ???????

Criticism because your bent as fuck but, other than that, they wank themselves silly over Pep et al.

Aye we weren’t great, but on another day if we had shown better composure with the chances we did have we could’ve nicked a point. The Wilson one being prime example, absolute waste.

I said it pre match and post match last night, going to you lot is the game I just have no excitement or hope for, so the fact we won’t be playing you away for at least 12 months (unless we get you in the cup obv) is great.

Go on explain to me how City are bent as fuck ?

You’re facing 115 charges and if found guilty by the independent commission, you’ll lose all the trophies you’ve won by ‘cheating’. Take it all back if you’re innocent though? tbh I have nothing against your club, always found your fans to be good eggs.

Aye I'm not really seeing much hatred from the media towards Man City like [emoji38]

Supporting Newcastle during the Ashley years was a constant stream of unnecessary digs and condescending nonsense (positive and negative), as soon as we got into the Champions League everyone started licking our arse.

you’ve been charged with 115 offences. You only ‘got off’ previously with similar charges because UEFA were time barred from taking action, not that you were found innocent. It’s long been rumoured that you paid managers through other Middle Eastern companies to inflate wages and not declare the correct figures in account. You have unknown people laying large quantities of cash into the accounts (£30m). But aye, nothing untoward or bent going on at all.

I admire City’s team and Pep, greatest side in PL history in my opinion. Certainly the level you reached against Real Madrid back end of last season.  But come on ?

The charges are very clear at the financial doping that’s been going on there for many years which has got City to this point.  It’s not a personal attack at City fans but it’s pretty obvious what’s happened

I’ve got no issue with supporters of other teams on the board and it makes for good interaction throughout the season but coming on the morning after an evening kick off we lost to say how disappointed they are in us shows zero etiquette and no social awareness.

Should fuck people off like that.
