Manchester City 1-0 Newcastle United (19/08/23)

This has been one of those games whereby I can’t help but think we needed a proper Dm as our midfield does usually concede space behind them.

Fortunatly we won’t be coming up against a team of this calibre until they come to SJP.

Have to say, don’t think I’ve been so bored watching NUFC. Regulation loss at the Etihad. Passed off the park by an utterly ridiculous city team that makes football blab entirely joyless experience. Like watching someone really really good at FIFA.

Which is essentially exactly what Man City are in the PL lol

Can't wait to see that shit haircut gormless cunt Foden fail to produce for England time after time over the next decade whilst he looks like the spawn of Maradona against us every sodding time.

Was thinking this too, can't remember being so bored by NUFC in the last year. City just too good

No real complaints about that. They're the best team in the world and showed it - control the ball so well. Foden was unplayable.

Impressed by Schar and Botman, they had Haaland under control all game, great performance. Miggy put in another huge shift, endless running.

Positives to take for sure. Now lets batter Liverpool at home

Foden is some player like, we've not been poor, they've forced us into errors, we hate it when we get told we only beat this team or that team because they played bad. We could have done better with our chances but City are just another level, we're not 2 years into this ownership yet, we'll get there.

We've given them a game and made them sweat at times, we've defended well goal aside and we've had a couple of chances to score. Better teams will come here and lose by more.
