That back 4 scared the life out of me on paper, but it just goes to show how much a good bit of coaching, and set up can do.

Think we are looking back to our defensive solidity from last season, which is great.

 

Was thinking at a stage that Joelinton would be our man of the match, won so many balls and back to his bullying best. But it has to go to Livramento who was absolutely outstanding, crazy to think he is our backup.

 

Special mentions to the whole back 4 as well. I thought Targett was also absolutely great and looked back to the quality he showed when we signed him in january, and there is something special about a Dummett sliding in and getting a clean sheet in 2023.
