Also quite funny watching Beale try to get a bunch of league 1 and championship level players to play out from the back against high level PL players. Miley doesn’t have the athleticism that Joelinton does and is understandably naive at times positionally and perhaps ball watching/getting drawn to it all the while. I disagree a bit, they do play it out from the back in the league more than most, they've been trying to play better football and why they've come closer to promotion. I don't think you should super change how you play for cup game against better opposition, but i was not surprised with a general lack of intensity of thought they'd be well up for it and sprinting to close us down all the time and hitting us on counter, but they never really did anything convincing Edited January 6 by Tiresias Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
