£55m. No goals. 1 assist. 6 months in but he made some good runs. Mint.

You were talking about today - I am seeing some +ve signs.

I’m glad you are. Maybe the fans just need to sing his name some more [emoji38]

He is fucking dreadful. Zero technical ability.

He’s an expensive Adama Traore.

Traore was, at his best, a legit ball carrier. This guy is not particularly good at anything.

He’s nothing like Adama Traore guys.

He's really fast with erratic over hit crosses and poor goal and assist stats for a winger. Can see why people would compare the two.

Reminds me of Miggy when he first joined.

Lots of headless chicken, not much product.

I would never have bought him for the price we did but I do think he can offer something.

I feel like Miggy could carry the ball and pass? All Miggy was missing (iirc) was shifting the fecking thing to his other boot occasionally.

Elanga is a dud, imo. He doesn't even know how to do the thing he's touted as being good at. Did they not have track and field in Sweden?

Traore has better ball control, Elanga has better delivery. I don’t think they’re that far apart though, both are quite basic pace merchants.

I'm going to relatively judge Elanga and Murphy on the basis of how good Murphy was in February 2018. Fee was 12m ?? Lets call that 30m in today's money.

Murphy had to go on loan twice, second time was 2 years after he signed. Managed a decent haul of 9 goals at Sheff wed. He took 5 seasons to score more than 2 goals for us.

Elanga is one year older than Murphy when he signed. I am not that convinced of him as player, i wasnt convinced in the slightest by Murpy either (although his performances at Norwich were decent). I am convinced however that he will get a lot better.

Surely this lad should be playing tonight after his last two performances. It's tough to get your consistency up getting dropped when your starting to play well.

He will be in around the 60th minute.

As is standard.

Whilst I agree, other folk would be complaining if we didn't rotate...

He doesn't need rotating though he's barely played this season as a starter.

Howe probably realises it was a bad signing.

If he plays people whinge, if he don’t play people whinge, if he’s injured people whinge, if he plays poor people whinge, if he plays OK people whinge that he should be playing better than OK, if he plays well people whinge that it’s taken him ages to play well
