Bruno isn't a DM. Our best football is when he's further up the pitch.

 

We have no natural DM. Joelinton closest thing but he doesn't have the discipline to do it too much. Too clumsy and heavy handed.

 

Tonali seems to play like a free role. Not clear what he's doing, but nobody around him seems to know how link up with him. 

 

Seems a bit disjointed and incoherent.

Two teams have players where we're genuinely better off man marking them wherever they go on the pitch to try and make it a 10v10 in a way. Palmer at Chelsea is one of them. Rodri at Man City the other. Stick Joelinton on him and tell him to never be further than a metre away from him.
