The most annoying thing about tonight has been the complete lack of appetite and desire in the second half. We've never looked for one minute like we've wanted the result as much as West Ham.

Absolutely pointless putting on performances like Arsenal if you're going to follow it up in your next home game with this.

West Ham's goal was against the run of play. Howe went 4-4-2 in response and we went from controlling the game in midfield to West Ham completely bossing it.

Comprehensively not good enough from anybody tonight. Concerning performance, didn’t have an answer to a mediocre team defending stoutly. This squad doesn’t pass the naked eye test if the test is “are you CL quality?”.

So, so shit.

Howe got that wrong in my opinion. We were playing well in the first half and didn’t need major changes. Moving Joelinton (possibly our best player in the first half) to centre mid where he’s struggled was stupid. If he really wanted Barnes on then Gordon had to come off and then he seemed to mess with the formation constantly all half and we had no rhythm. Really disappointing!

After the forest game why change a front three that had been effective previously just because Joe played okay second half on the right flank.

Uses osula on the bench and drops miley off it even though he rarely uses osula.

Ended the game looking utterly defeated, disorganised, deflated and disinterested. That was a fucking shambles, I'll give credit when it's due but that was shit tonight. Sloppy and had zero focus or intensity. We got exactly what we deserved, that was wank

All it is is we've hit a glass ceiling, momentum completely gone because of the new rules. Can want to replace Howe and scream at and about the players but its not changing.

Need to either try and enjoy it for what it is, wrap in or be melancholic as fuck about it (where I'm at) because shit as it may be this is it unless things change in the courts. Certainly there's nothing we can do about it. We've already had a manager punch us above our level and if we get another that too will inevitably level out like this has.

Were upper midtable, West Ham are mid-midtable and this is a standard result and game that reflects that as will the final table.
