I don't think we've been that bad tbh. Need some creativity though clearly - would get Trippier on to try and find Joelinton for a back post header.

We have like both teams have been shit. No quality at all.

If the intensity full flow play with space and transitions don’t work or there’s a game which just doesn’t have this then we look absolutely clueless with no answers.

No shots ain't great like.

Not surprising since we pass it to one of their players whenever we get close to their penalty area.

When Howe first came in and particularly when Trippier first signed we were pretty dangerous from set pieces. It often allowed us to break open right games, which we then went to on to run away with being able to play on the break.

We look so ineffective from them at the moment.

I think playing Burn at left back means you can have an extra tall player and that was a big part of it too. Not that I'm suggesting we go back to that.

Their counter attack when Munoz missed the sitter was outstanding to be fair to them.

Every counter against us always comes from a poor set piece delivery on our part - every single time

Fucking poor.

No one to target too, nothing created, we get in the final 3rd and play it back. We had a throw in deep on their own half, in line with the box, and within 2 touches it was back to Pope.

We do that ALL the time. Winds me up, no end.

A proper stodgy midfield half of football that both teams not really having a lot of goal mouth action bare that shocking miss on the counter from Palace. This is the sort of game that if we win 1-0 it'll be classed as a resolute and solid away performance, if we lose it'll be pitch forks out.

That said the first 20 was barely a football match.

Not sure what we work on during the week. The players look like they have no idea where they are supposed to be.

The only bright point is that we haven't conceded, but that's more down to Palace being shit in front of goal rather than us being rock solid.

Love Howe so I'm a long long way from calling for anything drastic but I've absolutely no interest in watching us play like this. Absolute waste of an afternoon. Think I'll watch the snooker instead.

We're not playing good, but our play will always suffer when opposition have a licence to kick the shit out of our players for 60 minutes before they get a yellow.

When I watch teams like Liverpool it seems the refs are desperately trying to protect their players by setting the bar low early on

Our corners are dreadful. Can’t score from them or even look remotely dangerous and they seem dangerous every time they get one. Just don’t get what’s happened with this team, Howe needs to sort it out.

It was also sloppy play from Hall to give the ball away from our set piece.

Then we should man up ourselves a bit I reckon.
